I have some question about the iphone 3G. Is it better than cell phones and do I need a plan for it? Do i get to go on the internet for free. And can I call or text people on it? Also is it easy to use? So is the iphone better than having a cell phone?

am planning on buying an iphone 3g for tmobile and wanted to know will i not get 3g on my phone. Also will i lose any other features when i unlock it.

Just got a K800i phone which enables “broadband 3g connection”. The speed is about 115kbps which is technically broad band, but it’s not that fast.
More importantly, the image quality is noticeably more degraded when using this service. It’s definatley not a laptop setting.
Can anyone help?

I dropped my 3G in the toilet, the iphone is not working, I am drying the phone and the SIM card in a bowl of rice, if I dry the SIM card will it work on another phone? I called Apple and they dont recommend me using the already sumerged SIM card in another phone. Any ideas? Please help.

I’m considering getting a new cell phone, and one of the phones i’m looking to buy has both GPRS and 3G however lacks EDGE. I was wondering if this lack of EDGE could cause any major setbacks. i’m currently with T-mobile.
